managed by The University of Minnesota Foundation. This
fund provides basic support for salary, travel, field, lab
and computer equipment, and laboratory analyses.
Wood-Rill Fellowship in Hardwood
Ecology. Established with a $250,000 donation by Bruce Dayton
and matching from the University of Minnesota 21st Century
Fellowship fund. This fellowship supports graduate student
stipends.
National Science Foundation
Grant DEB-0075236 for $334,360, project period September
1, 2000 through August 31, 2004, has funded much of the
research on European earthworm invasion.
Minnesota Department of Natural
Resources
A grant from the Nongame Wildlife Tax Checkoff, State of
Minnesota General Fund, Reinvest in Minnesota Program, and
Minnesota State Park Nature Store sales through the MN Department
of Natural Resources, Division of Ecological Services, Natural
Heritage and Nongame Research Program partially funded research
on the impact of European earthworms on native plant species. |
