People: Kathleen LaCasse

Kathleen is a Ph.D. student in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior, advised by Peter Reich. Her research examines the invasion of European buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica ) in Minnesota hardwood forests, and how buckthorn abundance is influenced by native plant diversity, light, maple abundance, and European earthworms.
